Beelieve Honey was born from a desire for parents and elders to work with kids and teenagers to do more and Bee more!  John and Colette Perez, together with Colette’s brother and father (Uncle Tommy and Mr. Walker), work alongside their children to harvest, filter, and package Beelieve Honey.  The hives are local to West Houston and Willow Springs, Texas.

It is a real team effort focused on teaching entrepreneurial skills to the next generation of the Perez family.  In a day and age driven by technology, there are not many urban educational opportunities that do not involve “screens and machines”.  We all grew up hearing about the dangers of idle minds and hands and then what do we do?  We sit the youth of today down with an InstaFaceTwitSnapagram device and hope and pray it all turns out OK!

As Mark Twain once said:

“When you find yourself on the side of the majority, it is time to pause and reflect.”
